The Art of Partnership

To mark the acquisition of a 30% stake in Vale Oman by Brazilian mining giant Vale SA from OQ, the client sought a symbolic and memorable gesture to honor over a decade of partnership. Kenshō crafted an intimate commemorative experience anchored in art and storytelling, featuring a commissioned painting by Omani artist Salim al Salami and a bespoke animated video that brought the artwork’s essence to life.

Task

To conceptualise, script, and produce a culturally resonant tribute that captured the spirit of the 10-year partnership between Vale Oman and OQ through visual and narrative storytelling.

The Strategy

Transform a static artwork into an immersive narrative piece that celebrates legacy through local artistry.

Kenshō developed a multi-layered storytelling experience. The team began by building a script and visual narrative that traced the painting’s creation from its early sketches to its final form. The hand-painted piece was then digitised and transformed into an animated sequence enriched with surreal background music and elevated by a powerful Omani voiceover. Every element was designed to deepen the emotional resonance of the tribute and connect the audience to the cultural significance of the moment.

The Results

An evocative visual centrepiece that left a lasting impression.

The final video, blending fine art, animation, and voiceover, became the emotional centrepiece of the celebratory event. It successfully reflected the values of dedication, unity, and shared growth between Oman and Brazil. More than a commemorative gesture, the project reinforced Kenshō’s reputation for delivering creative work that is both technically refined and deeply meaningful.
